Wednesday 3rd August 2022

The Killin Highland Games will make a glorious return on Wednesday 3rd August 2022.
Held in heart of the central highlands, in Breadalbane Park, in the lovely Killin Village Stirlingshire, the Killin Highland Games have been popular for 25 years. The Games offer heavyweight competitions, including the famous ‘tossing the caber’, highland dancing and piping competitions. There is a very popular amateur hill race, from the games park to the top of the nearby Sròn a'Chlachain. Visitors have the opportunity of shopping at food and artisan stalls.

The games are held on the first Wednesday in August, avoiding the traditionally busy ‘change-over’/ travel day.

A highlight of the day is the pipe band parade over the iconic Falls of Dochart Bridge at 1pm marching down the village into the main games arena.

In addition to the adult games, we are happy to announce that we are also running the Perthshire Junior Heavy Events,

The Killin Highland Games are within easy reach of Glasgow, Edinburgh and many of the main towns and cities in Scotland.
